Mangalore
A beautiful costal city that has historically been of strategic importance, Mangalore is the ideal base from where one can tour south-western and costal Karnataka. Pristine beaches lined with coconut trees, beautiful people, ancient temples and churches are some of the attractions in store for a traveler. St. Mary’s island, the temple town of Udipi, Ullal & Malpe beaches are worth a visit. Needless to say, the costal cuisine is absolutely amazing. Don’t miss the Kane fish (lady fish)!
